I was here for 2 days and would like to come again. I found Rhea's Inn By The Sea in Middletown to be reasonably priced and the staff members were extremely polite. Tbh, had a very good stay for the weekend. Everything was exceptional, the parking was on-site, the room was well-appointed. The location was central, magnificent close to the convenience store. The breakfast was satisfactory with lots of food and cold drinks.

Small sized bed and breakfast, very close to the beach ( walking 2 min) but kind of on the side of the main road. Room was very clean and large sized bathroom. Airconditioning made considerent noise. Breakfast was not what we expected ( no chairs and tables to sit down but 2 sofa's and a large tv)) but there were cereals, bagels, milk coffee juice and fresh fruit to have on plastic plates. It would have been nice to be able to sit outside on a terrace or the yard but there was nothing.
The location on the side of the road the breakfast ( see comment above) the lack of an outside area to sit or have breakfast.

The hotel was spotless and close to the beach. The rooms were huge and had a decent view, a king bed, and a balcony. It took me only 5 minutes to walk to the bus stop.

Liked really helpful and highly courteous staff and big hotel.
The bed was comfy, and the room itself was spacious. It boasted great views of the beach. Central location was a plus.

Great location, comfortable bed, clean, relaxing jacuzzi tub.
Room didn't seem to warrant a $280/nt rate, but it was July 4 weekend in a seaside city, so I guess it makes sense, even if still a little high. Also, the shower was rather small for a bathroom so enormous, but that's being nitpicky.

There is nothing fancy about the hotel but it's clean, well-run, and well-located. We had booked five rooms for our entire family and had leave early as Hurricane Irene approached. Ownership of the hotel was outstanding as we had to change our plans and cancel all of the reservations earlier than expected. Given the circumstances, we were very fortunate to be at a family-owned, rather than chain hotel, because of the immediate and personal service we were able to receive.
Wifi for internet was spotty.

The manager was extremely friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and see that we had everything we needed. The rooms were immaculate. Not fancy, but certainly well maintained and was close to the beach, Newport mansions and had several choices for meals within walking distance.
Some would be disappointed that there was no elevator, but there are only three floors and it was not a deterrent for us.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Firstly, the location was perfect, just a short walk from the beach in Middletown. It was also conveniently situated near some amazing restaurants, making dining out a breeze. Secondly, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a small balcony to enjoy the views. The highlight for me was the jacuzzi in the room, which provided the perfect way to relax after a long day. Lastly, the breakfast spread was impressive, with a variety of high-quality items in refrigerated baskets. It was great to start the day with so many goodies!
Everything was just perfect!
